Perceptual-motor interventions are one of the most important interventions that provide the development and better learning process of children. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to investigate the effect of perceptual-motor interventions and sensory integration on improving the motor skills of mentally retarded children. In this research, meta-analysis was used as a checklist to measure the impact of research findings and determine the average impact of research. In this research, the statistical community theses and researches published in scientific journals were researches that were carried out during the last decades (1390-1400) in the field of interventions based on the effectiveness of interventions based on cognitive-motor therapy and sensory integration on the motor problems of mentally retarded students, and for this purpose, researches that are in line with the objectives of the research meta-analysis was formed on it. The findings showed that the effect of perceptual-motor interventions improves the motor skills of mentally retarded children by 48%, but this rate is moderate. Considering the significant effects of perceptual-motor interventions and sensory integration, this method can be used as a suitable method to improve the motor skills of these children.
