Journal Article 2025 03 05 <p><strong>Objective:</strong> The aim of the present study is to propose a qualitative model of factors influencing the failure to initiate marriage among single men. This study examines the factors that lead to delays in marriage and the obstacles along their path.</p> <p><strong>Methodology:</strong> This research was conducted with a qualitative approach using the grounded theory method. The research population consisted of single men in the city of Kazerun. Fifteen of them were selected through purposive sampling, based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, until theoretical saturation was reached. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed in three stages—open coding, axial coding, and selective coding—using the method outlined by Strauss and Corbin (1998).</p> <p><strong>Findings:</strong> In the open coding stage, 232 final codes were identified. These codes were organized into key categories during the axial coding stage. Ultimately, in the selective coding stage, the study’s core category was determined. The factors preventing marriage were classified into five general dimensions: causal factors (such as fear of commitment and financial problems), and contextual factors (such as negative past experiences and cultural beliefs), intervening factors (such as individual attitudes and fear of the future).</p> <p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> The findings of the study indicate that the failure to initiate marriage among single men is the result of a combination of psychological, social, cultural, and economic factors that interact in a complex manner. These results can be useful for social policymaking and cultural planning aimed at reducing barriers to marriage and improving the psychological and social well-being of young people.</p> <p><strong>هدف:</strong> هدف پژوهش حاضر، ارائه یک مدل کیفی از عوامل مؤثر بر عدم اقدام به ازدواج در پسران مجرد است. این مطالعه به بررسی عواملی می‌پردازد که باعث تأخیر در ازدواج پسران و موانع موجود در مسیر آن‌ها می‌شود.</p> <p><strong>روش‌شناسی:</strong> این پژوهش با رویکرد کیفی و روش نظریه داده‌بنیاد انجام شد. جامعه پژوهش شامل پسران مجرد شهرستان کازرون بود که 15 نفر از آنان به روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند و بر اساس ملاک‌های ورود و خروج تا رسیدن به اشباع نظری انتخاب شدند. داده‌ها از طریق مصاحبه‌های نیمه‌ساختاریافته جمع‌آوری و با استفاده از روش استراوس و کوربین (1998) در سه مرحله کدگذاری باز، محوری و گزینشی تحلیل شد.</p> <p><strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> در مرحله کدگذاری باز، 232 کد نهایی شناسایی شد. این کدها در مرحله کدگذاری محوری به مقولات کلیدی دسته‌بندی شدند و در نهایت در مرحله کدگذاری گزینشی، مقوله محوری پژوهش تعیین گردید که عوامل عدم اقدام به ازدواج در پنج بُعد کلی طبقه‌بندی شدند: عوامل علّی (مانند ترس از تعهد و مشکلات مالی) و عوامل زمینه‌ای (مانند تجارب منفی گذشته و باورهای فرهنگی) عوامل مداخله‌گر (مانند نگرش‌های فردی و هراس از آینده).</p> <p><strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که عدم اقدام به ازدواج در پسران، نتیجه ترکیبی از عوامل روانی، اجتماعی، فرهنگی و اقتصادی است که در یک تعامل پیچیده با یکدیگر عمل می‌کنند. این نتایج می‌تواند در سیاست‌گذاری‌های اجتماعی و برنامه‌ریزی‌های فرهنگی جهت کاهش موانع ازدواج و ارتقای سلامت روانی و اجتماعی جوانان مؤثر باشد.</p> https://maherpub.com/index.php/pdmd/article/download/380/379
