Journal Article 1403 04 30 <p><strong>Objective:</strong> The objective of this study was to examine a causal model of the relationships between the Big Five personality traits and academic dishonesty, with the mediating role of self-conscious emotions and goal orientation among students at Payame Noor University.</p> <p><strong>Methods and Materials: </strong>This research was descriptive-correlational in nature. The statistical population included all students at Payame Noor University, Kherameh, from which 285 students were selected through convenience sampling. The instruments used in this study included the Big Five Personality Traits Questionnaire by Goldberg (1991), the Goal Orientation Questionnaire by Elliot and McGregor (2001), the Academic Dishonesty Scale by McCabe and Trevino (1996), and the Self-Conscious Emotions Questionnaire by Cohen et al. (2011). Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.</p> <p><strong>Findings: </strong>The results indicated that the Big Five personality traits significantly and directly influenced goal orientation, self-conscious emotions, and academic dishonesty. Additionally, goal orientation and self-conscious emotions were found to have a significant and direct effect on academic dishonesty. Furthermore, personality traits were shown to influence academic dishonesty indirectly through goal orientation and self-conscious emotions.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>This study demonstrated that personality traits, goal orientation, and self-conscious emotions all play significant roles in shaping academic dishonesty behaviors. Enhancing goal orientation towards learning objectives and reducing emphasis on performance goals, along with strengthening self-conscious emotions, could lead to a decrease in academic dishonesty among students. These findings can assist universities and educational policymakers in developing programs and policies to prevent academic dishonesty.</p> <p><strong>هدف:</strong> هدف از این پژوهش بررسی مدل علی روابط بین پنج عامل بزرگ شخصیت و بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی با نقش واسطه‌ای هیجانات خودآگاه و جهت‌گیری هدفی در دانشجویان دانشگاه پیام نور بود.</p> <p><strong>روش‌شناسی:</strong> این پژوهش از نوع توصیفی-همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه دانشجویان دانشگاه پیام نور خرامه بود که از بین آن‌ها 285 نفر به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای استفاده‌شده در این پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه پنج عامل بزرگ شخصیت گلدبرگ (1991)، پرسشنامه جهت‌گیری هدفی الیوت و مک گریگور (2001)، مقیاس بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی مک کاب و تریوینو (1996)، و پرسشنامه هیجانات خودآگاه کوهن و همکاران (2011) بودند. داده‌های جمع‌آوری شده با استفاده از مدل‌سازی معادلات ساختاری تجزیه و تحلیل شد.</p> <p><strong>یافته‌ها: </strong>نتایج نشان داد که پنج عامل بزرگ شخصیت به صورت مستقیم و معناداری بر جهت‌گیری هدفی، هیجانات خودآگاه و بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی تأثیرگذار هستند. همچنین، جهت‌گیری هدفی و هیجانات خودآگاه به صورت مستقیم و معناداری بر بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی تأثیر داشتند. علاوه بر این، مشخص شد که ویژگی‌های شخصیتی به طور غیرمستقیم و از طریق جهت‌گیری هدفی و هیجانات خودآگاه بر بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی تأثیرگذار هستند.</p> <p><strong>نتیجه‌گیری: </strong>این پژوهش نشان داد که ویژگی‌های شخصیتی، جهت‌گیری هدفی و هیجانات خودآگاه همگی نقش مهمی در شکل‌دهی به رفتارهای بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی دارند. تقویت جهت‌گیری به سمت اهداف یادگیری و کاهش تأکید بر اهداف عملکردی، به همراه تقویت هیجانات خودآگاه می‌تواند به کاهش بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی در میان دانشجویان منجر شود. این یافته‌ها می‌تواند به دانشگاه‌ها و سیاست‌گذاران آموزشی در توسعه برنامه‌ها و سیاست‌های پیشگیری از بی‌صداقتی تحصیلی کمک کند.</p> https://maherpub.com/index.php/pdmd/article/download/165/160
